110 kilometres north-west of Harare, resting in the hills and hidden valleys of Mashonaland West Province, in the rich agricultural heartland of Zimbabwe, lies an oasis of order, harmony and productivity. This is Lomagundi College.

We are a small English speaking, Christian school, the only rural, independent, co-educational boarding school for both junior and senior pupils in Zimbabwe; a community, grounded in the real world. Close enough to Harare to benefit from cultural and sporting interactions, yet removed from the distractions and temptations of the cities.

“Tabatana” is the motto of Lomagundi College. We live by it. It means Togetherness. The little ones live in a loving ones supportive atmosphere, while the older students learn to respect and understand each other, working, socialising and eating together but obviously living in separate houses

Lomagundi is a Community group of schools that caters for the youngsters from the age of 4 years at grade zero, through Primary School to Senior School. During the High School years Lomagundi College offers the youngsters some tertiary courses such as Mechanical Engineering and the International Computer Driving Licence which help to bridge the gap between school and the job market.

Our facilities are continuously being renovated and renewed to provide a comfortable learning, social and sporting environment for our children.

The Community is always encouraged to support the school in every way, while the Board of Governors employ qualified and capable staff to ensure the development of our children into the good and productive citizens required by this modern world.
